The Seahawks held on to beat the Stingrays 16-11 at Myrtle Grove in a wild game Sunday. Many of the runs scored were unearned as both teams struggled with defense. Alan Paul pitched 5 1/3 strong innings giving up only 1 earned run. Chris Natale come on to get the save after his slick fielding at shortstop saved a few runs earlier in the game. Bill Bernath, Todd Rehanek, Ray Dixon and Paull all had two hits apiece. Rehanek also knocked in 4 RBI. Hyden Lafon made a great catch in right field to snuff out a Stingrays rally. For the Stingrays Terry Ward and Fred Altman each had two hits and two RBI.
